The pools were empty, but people (mostly with children) were queuing up to enter.
Judging from the banners, this event is associated with the 80th anniversary of the Liberation.

May 22: #seoul to #YEG
My last day in Seoul. I had an evening flight and arrived home the same day, flying against time. I wanted to visit the Blue House, home of the Korean president. I faithfully followed my Naver directions and wound up at this apartment building in hilly Mapo. Decided to return to my guesthouse and area. I ate Japanese at a location from #WhenThePhoneRings
I left early for Incheon and slept solidly for most of my flight then again at home. Good to be back.

This weeks surprise martial law decree comes on the heels of a widening political fallout from a stock manipulation scandal led by the 1st lady herself.
Prosecutors refused to indict the first lady for her central role in the financial scheme. In response the South Korean Democratic party(which has a majority in the National Assembly) planned to begin impeachment procedures against these prosecutors starting this week.

Soldiers were seen over night descending upon the National Assembly complex and photos have emerged of the heavily armed force occupying it's halls.
Outside crowds of law makers and aids demanded to be let in to conduct the people's business but met stiff resistance for local police.
All major political parties decry this undemocratic move by President Yoon including his own People Power Party.

Today South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has declared emergency martial law due to "anti-State" actors.
Who are the "anti-State"?
So far his order makes it clear, its any political party not aligned with President Yoon. He's closed down their National Assembly and wants direct control of all political media.
This appears to be a coup, not a legit emergency.

#Seoul’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) provided evidence on Friday of what it said were North Korean troops’ deployments to #Russia before participating in the war in #Ukraine, including a series of satellite images of troop concentration.
NIS said those deployed to Russia consisted of “1,500 North Korean special forces from the areas near #Chongjin, #Hamhung, and #Musudan” of the country.

Today, #Hollo held an offline #sprint in #Seoul, and received several improvement patches:
Removed a dependency on Meilisearch, which makes Hollo easier to install. Thanks to @longfin!
In a post view, the number of likes and shares are displayed now. Thanks to @devtedlee!
Hollo now has a Docker Compose configuration, which lets users easily deploy it and lets contributors quickly set up the project. Thanks to @longfin, again!
The code formatter now works well with the Hollo project in the IntelliJ IDEs. Thanks to @kecan0406!

Vor ein paar Wochen war ich ja in Südkorea und konnte mit der neuen Hochgeschwindigkeits-U-Bahn GTX-A fahren. Mein Bericht mit vielen Fotos ist endlich fertig. Ein tolles System, wenn auch erst ein Anfang. Seoul zeigt aber, wie langfristig man Verkehr planen kann. Jedes Jahr gibt es was Neues im ÖPNV...
