@hongminhee The top of the line M4 models promise to actually beat the M1 Max, but honestly nothing else is much improved. I have 1TB but it’s not enough and Apple refuses to use an actually good file system (ZFS)… the next time around I will also go up to 64GB RAM for sure. 32 is adequate for almost all needs but my work involves operations on large data sets where having a lot of RAM can be nice.
