I swear my next laptop will have 2 TB of storage. (I'm currently struggling with 512 GB.)

@hongminhee amen!

I'm in the same boat, M2 mbp pro with 512 and I'm looking to upgrade to a 1TB atleast.

It's brutal, I have xcode/android studio and 30 different webapps (most for work)

I'm always having to clear space, 512G was never meant for people like us 😅

I'm still perfectly happy with my MacBook Pro M1 Max, and the only thing that makes me think about upgrading is the storage…

@hongminhee My wish for 2025 is for SSD prices to go down... even though the hope is probably futile. 😅

My 8 TB "everything" storage has about 300 GB left, which isn't exactly panic time yet but I do need to expand soon enough.

@hongminhee I'm currently struggling with 2 TB on my Framework laptop.

I don't actually have 2TB worth of data. I just ran into a bug in Nix where the store database got corrupted & haven't been able to garbage collect old store files in a couple months, so it has ballooned in size. I need to do a reinstall to fix it, but I want to switch to a lvm2 & btrfs layout via disko. My current struggle is trying to fit my ~1.4 TB of data onto a series of mostly filled old drives, just for the reformat
