@hongminhee That makes sense, I’m in the same boat. I have a big interest in extensible and malleable software, which seems like a place where Smalltalk and Lisp would excel, but I’m just not willing to give up on strong types when it comes to the projects I work on.

It feels like most developers and ecosystems don’t care much about extensibility and also that there’s technical barriers in a lot of strongly-typed tools. At the end of the day though I’d rather try to learn how to overcome those than work in a language which I don’t like.
