It seems like more Linux users prefer KDE over GNOME, but I'm way more of a GNOME fan myself. I wonder if it has something to do with using a Mac for so long when I was a kid.

@hongminhee I'm in the same boat. I actually used Windows until late 2020, but I prefer the flat colors of GNOME. It would be nice if it were a bit more flexible without extensions — I especially don't like the app menu. I'm keeping an eye on COSMIC, since that has most of the same design language.

I also tend to use GNOME, too.

Although, I think I started using GNOME either in the late 1990s or early 2000.
