I dislike sarcasm for many reasons, and one of them is that when I'm speaking a foreign language, it's hard to tell whether someone is being sarcastic or genuinely straightforward.

@hongminhee hmm that’s an interesting point…. I had not really considered that. I do use sarcasm pretty heavily, even in languages where I’m not a native speaker, but maybe I should avoid that except when I know the group will understand 🤔

Sarcasm has poor accessibility for foreigners.
