• $5/mo — Backer: Get listed on site & GitHub
• $100/mo — Sponsor: Logo featured on site & GitHub
• $500/mo — Corp Sponsor: Prominent logo placement
• $0.01+ — Custom: Name listed for any amount

I would recommend creating some tiers between $5 and $100.

Some may feel they want to give more than $5 but feel that $100 is too much for them.

Maybe:

• $5 per month
• $10 per month
• $20 per month
• $50 per month
• $100 per month
• $500 per month
• $0.01+

Although you'd need to come up with some "rewards" for those tiers, too.

Some people pick tiers to get rewards.

I agree that 5 up to 100 is a big gap. People tend to freeze without clear options.

You would need a different UI for more options.

Also, maybe group rewards:
- baker (2 5 10 20 30 40)
- sponsor (50 75 100)
- corp sponsor (500)

For sponsor and above you can have a special monthly newsletter with dev plans (milestones, ideas, finance transparency, etc), for corp you can even have some support level (define clearly).

The newsletter can be publicized with some delay to public.

• Backer ($5/mo): Name on GitHub & website
• Supporter ($25/mo): Name & link prominently featured
• Sponsor ($100/mo): Logo & link featured
• Corporate ($500/mo): Prominent logo placement everywhere
• Custom: Any amount, one-time or recurring
