Hollo has always been headless—no built-in frontend, just a Mastodon-compatible API. You pick your own client. That's kind of the point.

But we've been wondering: what if Hollo shipped its own web frontend? The Mastodon-compatible API would stay, so your current client setup wouldn't change. It'd just be one more option.

Would you use it?

@hollo There are some features that Hollo offers, like emoji reacts, which would be nice to see in a client. A focus on some of these more unique features in a Hollo client could serve as a testing platform, too.

If I’m being honest there are so many good clients it would be difficult to say I would move completely to a single client tho. 😊

@hollo I would definitely be interested in seeing what a Hollo web front end looks like, and it might make it easier/more user friendly to do other admin tasks as well.
